You Send Me

Five years ago, I eloped with my favorite person in the whole world surrounded by nothing other than the peaceful mountains in Banff (and our officiant & photographer). Why elope? At first we thought it was because we wanted to avoid the family drama, the expense or the fanfare. But in the end, we realized it was much more than that. Our relationship is private. Shocking to hear nowadays. But we truly value our privacy in our relationship. And the thought of saying my vows in front of anyone made me want to barf. Just when you thought I was being sappy and emotional, I had to drop that in *teehee*.

At first I thought it was infatuation, but it’s lasted so long.
Now I find myself wanting to marry you and take you home.
Darling, you send me.
